Judge Lili Li is Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Finance and Law (SIFL) and Director of its Bankruptcy Law Research Center. A former judge, she served in the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court, Pudong New Area People's Court, and Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court/Shanghai Bankruptcy Court. Multiple cases she presided over have been designated as model cases by the Supreme People's Court, Shanghai High People's Court, and Shanghai Bankruptcy Court. She translated and published Comparative Study on Personal Bankruptcy Law and served as an expert member of the drafting committee for the Xiamen Special Economic Zone Personal Bankruptcy Protection Regulations.
