Mr. Yuen, the former Secretary for Justice of the HKSAR Government, is a Senior Counsel specializing in commercial disputes.
Apart from acting as advocate in litigation and arbitral proceedings, Mr. Yuen acts as arbitrator in arbitrations seated in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions. He also practises as a mediator with emphasis on commercial disputes. In addition, he also acts as legal expert witness in overseas court and arbitral proceedings.
Currently, he is the Co-Chair of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, and a Committee Member of the International Commercial Expert Committee of the China International Commercial Court. Further, Mr. Yuen is also a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Legal and Dispute Resolution Services and the Working Group on Mediation Regulatory System.
