James has 18 years of experience delivering complex international restructuring and coordinates A&M’s European Restructuring Plan mandates. James led the UK team supporting the New Fortress Energy RP (the largest consensual RP to date restructuring $9bn+ of debt with 99% creditor approval). Prior to that, James advised the opposing creditors to successfully overturn the Petrofac RP in the UK Court of Appeal resulting in the most significant RP judgement to date. James has advised on numerous other complex European RPs including McDermott, Waldorf Production, Thames Water, Virgin Active, Cineworld, Superdry, Fitness First, and Royal IHC, among others.
