Daisy Nijkamp is a counsel in Stibbe’s Restructuring & Insolvency team. She has proven experience in litigating and advising on liability, security rights and insolvency law issues for a broad spectrum of clients. She also regularly advises on complex restructurings. Daisy acts as a court appointed trustee in bankruptcy matters and has expertise in banking and finance. She regularly teaches on subjects of liability and bankruptcy law, including the Dutch Scheme (WHOA). She is a member of Insolad and INSOL Europe and recently joined the board of the Dutch Restructuring Association (NVvH). Earlier in here career she was seconded to an international Dutch bank as in-house counsel to advise the financial restructuring and recovery team.
